Al Whittle Theatre - Wolfville, NS
Tickets are now on sale for "An Evening of Stories and Songs". The show takes place on April 9 at the Bauer Theatre in Antigonish. I am very excited to be playing this hometown show and bringing some wonderful and talented friends with me including: Betsy MacDonald, Mike Aube, and The Hupman Brothers! There will also be a special performance by gypsy jazz wonders Mishra's Dream.
You can pick up tickets for $15 ($12 for students) at The 5cents to $1.00 Store, Indigo Healing Connections, or 101.5 The Hawk.
The show is sponsored by The Hawk's "East Coast Rising", G&G Music, and Brosha's Short Stoppe.
I had wonderful weekend performing and taking in performances at the East Coast Music Awards in Sydney, Nova Scotia just a few weeks ago. I performed with "Jazz One", "Kaidiasphere", and an original set with The Hupman Brothers backing me up. I was also very excited to watch the boys win their first ECMA for "Blues Album of the Year". The album was recorded by Scott Hupman who will be recording my second full length album in June 2010!

NEWS
March 21, 2010 - Hey folks, Here's a video from a recent performance at "Night Kitchen" at the Al Whittle Theatre. You can watch it on the left. The Al Whittle has got to be one of my favorite stages to play (and the people of Wolfville are awfully lovely people).
One of my favorite side projects, "Bang Bang! Burlesque" has been performing around the province; we have one more performance left on March 26 at the Seahorse Tavern in Halifax. This is a really neat dance/theatre troup where I get to play a lot of roles from singer to dancer to drummer!
And if you're still reading, check out my blog. I've been sneaking in some previews of new songs which you might just hear on the new album in the fall!
Love, Jenny
